    Head Volleyball Coach

Tammi McCaudy-Lee spent seven seasons (1992-98) as the head volleyball coach at Coastal Carolina University where she compiled a record of 110-117.

Lee coached the Chanticleers to their most successful season in history in 1996 (22 seasons) when Coastal made its first ever trip to the NCAA Tournament, won the program's first-ever Big South Conference Championship and finished with a record of 27-7 overall and 13-1 in conference play. These accolades led the way to Coach Lee being tabbed the Big South's Coach of the Year.

The improvement through Coach McCaudy-Lee's first five seasons are impressive. After posting records of 13-20, 8-23 and 7-27 in her first three years, Coach McCaudy-Lee's 1995 team, which was her first with all of her recruits, went 17-14 and placed third in the Big South. Last season, Coastal placed third in the Big South with a 15-13 overall record.

Coach Lee is a 1988 graduate of Coastal Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. While attending Coastal, she was a four-year member of the Lady Chanticleer volleyball program and a two-year member of the women's golf team. Lee received her Master's degree in Education from the University of South Carolina in 1993.

After serving as a graduate assistant on the 1988 volleyball coaching staff, Lee helped establish the USVBA Junior Olympic Program in the Myrtle Beach area.
