• His 10.0 tackles-for-loss were tied for ninth overall in the Sun Belt
• His 3.5 sacks on the year ranked 19th overall in the league

2018 (Redshirt Junior)

• Named a team captain
• Played in all 12 games for the Chants, starting seven-straight in the middle of the season
• Totaled 24 tackles, 5.5 tackles-for-loss, 3.0 sacks, and one quarterback hurry on the year
• Blocked a field goal attempt at Campbell (Sept. 12)
• Recorded one solo tackle in the season opener at South Carolina (Sept. 1)
• Had a quarterback hurry versus UAB (Sept. 8)
• Tallied a season-high six tackles in the road win at Campbell
• Had two tackles in each of the next four games at Louisiana (Sept. 22), at Troy (Sept. 29), versus ULM (Oct. 13), and at UMass (Oct. 20)
• Also had 1.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.0 sack at Troy
• Had a 0.5 tackle-for-loss versus ULM and 1.5 tackles-for-loss and another sack at UMass
• Picked up three tackles and 1.0 sack at Georgia State (Oct. 27)
• Posted two tackles in both the home contest versus Georgia Southern (Nov. 17) and in the road game at South Alabama (Nov. 23)

• Ranked as the No. 109 player and No. 14 defensive end in the nation and No. 4 player in North Carolina by ESPN
• Played in the Under Armour All-America Game
• Led Cleveland High School to a 10-3 record as a senior
• Had 78 tackles, which included 44 tackles-for-loss, as a junior
• Had 7.5 sacks and two blocked punts in a state playoff game
