Seamus Donovan Named Big South Player of the Week

    

CHARLOTTE, NC  Coastal Carolina senior pitcher Seamus Donovan (Richmond, Va./Atlee H.S.) was named the Big South Conference Pitcher of the Week, May 6 by the conference office.

Donovan picked up a save and a win last week, appearing in two games. He threw 9.0 innings for the week, allowing only one run and one walk with nine strikeouts. He tossed 2.1 innings of work in relief versus UNCW to pick up his first career save, then hurled 6.2 innings in a start against Liberty to pick up his fourth win of the season.

The Coastal Carolina baseball team will next be in action on Wednesday, May 6 at 5 p.m. against College of Charleston.
