Moutsinga Joins List of Regional Qualifiers at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's track and field team got one more NCAA Regional qualifier Saturday at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. as junior Anne Marie Moutsinga finished 12th in the 5,000m with a time of 16:44.28. Previous qualifiers Chasity Johnson, Marilyn Testa, and Daneja Grandovec also attained regional marks, with Johnson and Grandovec setting new school and conference records in the triple jump and 3,000m steeplechase, respectively.
Coastal Carolina men's track senior Jacob Simatwa was Coastal's top finisher in any event, placing third in the 800m run at the Raleigh Relays with a time of 1:50.77, Mar. 27. Senior Terah Kipchiris also earned a top 10, placing eighth by running the 5,000m in 14:22.10
