Moutsinga Places in Top Thirty at Stanford Invitational More Information:
PALO ALTO, CALIF. – Seniors Anne Marie Moutsinga (Galati, Romania/Radu Negru) and Terah Kipchiris (Kitale, Kenya/Saboti Secondary (Kenyatta)) both placed in the top thirty at the Stanford Invitational in the 10,000m on Friday evening, Mar. 25 in Palo Alto, Calif. on the campus of Stanford University.
Moutsinga ran the 10,000m in a time of 34.41.79, which is a new personal record and a school record. The run was also an NCAA National Qualifying Mark and placed her 27th in the competition. It was also a new Big South Conference record in the event.
Kipchiris time of 29:39.78 in the 10,000m is also a career best and a new school record. It also was an NCAA National Qualifying mark and placed him 21st in the event. It was also a new Big South Conference record.
