Women's Tennis Defeats Radford, 6-0

Blacksburg, Va. - The Coastal Carolina women’s tennis team (14-4, 6-0 Big South) defeated Radford’s tennis team (3-11, 0-4 Big South), 6-0, at the Burrows/Burleson Center on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Seniors Marie Matrka (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington),Virginia Dinh ( Maisons Albert, France/Sophia), junior Petra Jantti (Haukiverkko Espo, Finland/Tapiolan Lukio), freshman Sofie Ahlberg (Stockholm, Sweden/Adalsskolan), and sophomores Sarize Coetzee (Bloemfontein) and Nicole Lemmerer (Bad Mitterndorf, Austria/Borg Bad Aussee) all won their singles matches in straight sets for Coastal, in that order. The doubles matches were not played
Coastal women’s program will next be in action on Tuesday, Apr. 5 as they host UNC-Wilmington at 2:00 p.m.
