Johnson Named Big South Men's Golfer of the Week
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Coastal Carolina senior Dustin Johnson (Lexington, S.C./Dutch Fork) has been selected as the Choice Hotels Men’s Golfer of the Week, respectively, it was announced today by the League office. Johnson led the Chanticleers to a first-place finish at the Duke Golf Classic, claiming individual medalist honors with a 9-under par 207 for the event. He carded scores of 69, 68 and 70, and won by one shot over David Holzworth of North Carolina. It was Johnson’s third top five finish in three events this fall.
