Women's Tennis Competed in NC State Tennis Invitational

Raleigh, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina's women's tennis team continued their fall season last weekend when they traveled to Raleigh, N.C. to compete the N.C. State Tennis Invitational Sept. 28-30.
Junior Sofie Ahlberg (Stockholm,Sweden/Adalsskolan) had a great weekend, she was 3-0 in her singles matches and finished first in her flight. Also competing well for the Lady Chaticleers in doubles, freshman Maria Camberos and Tina Petkova who were undeated in their flight going 4-0.
"This was a very good test for our team," Head Coach Jody Davis said. "We found out that we have some hard work ahead of us in order to get ready for the spring season. We had some very good performances in Sofie Ahlberg winning her flight and Maria and Tina playing well in the their doubles matches. Hopefully, we can build on our experiences last weekend and continue to improve as a team."
