Women's Tennis Finished Fall Season at USC

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team competed in the USC Fall Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina on Oct. 27-29. Nicole Lemmerer (Bad Mitterndorf. Austria/Borg Bad Aussee) won her flight going 4-0 in singles play.
Lemmerer, was the only flight winner for the Lady Chanticleers over the weekend. Amy Pazahanick (Atlanta, Ga./Brookwood (Georgia Southern)) and Tina Petkova both went 3-1 in their flight in singles. The team went 18-9 overall in singles and 4-5 overall in doubles.
"We had a good fall season and now it's time to rest and start preparing for the dual match season," head coach Jody Davis said. "Our spring schedule will present many challenges for our team and hopefully the work we put in this off-season will pay off with a championship in April."
