CONWAY, SC – Coastal Carolina's men's basketball program has signed Anthony Breeze (Greenville, S.C./Greenville) to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Chanticleers next season, head coach Buzz Peterson announced today. Breeze is the first signee of the year for the program.

 “Our coaching staff is very excited about the addition of Anthony Breeze to our basketball family,” Peterson said. “Anthony plays very hard all the time. His work ethic plus his athleticism will allow him to make a major impact in our program.”

 A small forward, Breeze averaged 13 points and nine rebounds a game as a junior, helping the Red Raiders win the South Carolina Class AAA State Championship. Breeze is also a high jumper on the Greenville track squad. Breeze chose Coastal over Liberty, Charleston Southern, Winthrop and East Carolina.

 Coastal Carolina is back in action, Thu., Nov. 16 at 7 p.m., traveling to Buies Creek, N.C. to take on Campbell.
