Women's Tennis Continues Perfect Season

HITLTON HEAD, S.C. – Coastal Carolina’s women’s tennis team continues their perfect season with a 6-1 win over the University of Connecticut Tuesday, March 7. The Lady Chanticleers swept the doubles, highlighted by Virginie Dinh (Maisons Albert, France/Sophia) and Hayley Rudman’s (Johannesburg, South Africa/Northcliff (Mississippi State) 8-1 win. Petra Jantti (Haukiverkko Espo, Finland/Tapiolan Lukio) and Amy Pazahanick recorded their tenth doubles win, while Sofie Ahlberg (Stockholm, Sweden/Adalsskolan) and Sarize Coetzee (Bloemfontein, South Africa/ Oranje Meisieskool (Texas Tech) won, 8-2. Pazahanick won her 11th straight singles match, winning 6-4, 6-1. Jantti, Dinh, Ahlberg, and Coetzee also brought in singles wins for the Lady Chants. Coastal will now host Big South rival Liberty Saturday, March 11 at 1 p.m.
