Women's Basketball to Host Teal/Black Scrimmage this Tuesday

Coastal Carolina women's basketball fans will have an opportunity to get a first look at the 2007-08 squad as the Lady Chants host a Teal/Black scrimmage Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for the scrimmage.
Coastal returns eight letterwinners from last year's squad that went 18-11 and 9-5 in Big South play. Starters Vicky Blanchard (Eutawville, S.C./Holly Hill-Roberts (Walters State C.C.) and C.J. Ware (Decatur, Ga./Lakeside) return along with three 2007 Big South All-Freshman team members (Devin Rivers, Lacey Lyons and Amanda Stull).
NOTE: The exhibition between Coastal and Queens College scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 4 will not be played. Coastal opens the 2007-08 regular season Sunday, Nov. 11 against Wofford. Tip off is at 2 p.m.
