Felgueroso Named Big South Women's Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Coastal Carolina senior Aruka Felgueroso (Madrid, Spain) has been named the Choice Hotels Big South Women's Golfer of the Week for events played Oct. 15-21, it was announced today by the Conference office.
Felgueroso won medalist honors at the CSU Wendy's Invitational (par 71, 6,068 yards) with a 2-under 140 (74-66) for her fifth career win. Her 140 tied the school record for a 36-hole event, and she carded a school record round of 5-under 66, breaking the previous mark of 68 she shared with Ann Maness. Felgueroso led the Chanticleers to the team title as well, as Coastal Carolina finished with a school-record 36-hole total 586 - 19 shots ahead of runner-up College of Charleston. The Chants also broke a school record for lowest team round with a 1-over par 285 in the second round.
