Obremski Named Big South Men's Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Coastal Carolina senior Dan Obremski has been named the Choice Hotels Big South Men's Golfer of the Week for events played Oct. 1-7, it was announced today by the Conference office.
Obremski won his first collegiate title at the Windon Memorial Classic (par 71, 7,081 yards), sharing it with Kent State's Brett Cairns after each shot a 1-over 214, two shots better than the third-place finishers. Obremski fired a 1-under 71 in the final two rounds after opening with a 74. He also was the second-straight Chanticleer to take home an individual title this season, as Sam Lyons won The McLaughlin in Coastal's last event.
The Chanticleers will conclude the fall schedule at the Bank of Tennessee/Ridges Invitational. The tournament, hosted by East Tennessee State, will be played Fri.-Sun., Oct. 16-18 at The Ridges Golf Club in Johnson City, Tenn.
