Gary Koch Invitational Final Results in PDF Format

TAMPA, Fla. - Coastal Carolina shot a final-round 299 and finished with a team score of 877 to place seventh at the Gary Koch Invitational Sunday, played at the Old Memorial Golf Club.

Virginia won the 12-team event with a three-round score of 849, followed by Auburn (858), North Florida (866), UNC Greensboro (868), Florida State (870), Middle Tennessee State (874) and Coastal (877). The Chants finished ahead of College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, North Carolina, Kentucky and South Florida.

Coastal Carolina was led on Sunday by freshman Conner Pratt. The Birmingham, Fla., native carded an even-par 72, continuing his improvement. Pratt started with rounds of 78-74 before his 72 Sunday and finished with a 54-hole score of 224 to tie for 35th.

Drew Ernst was the Chanticleers leader for the two-day event, finishing in 14th with a 54-hole score of one-under par 215 (69-72-74). Steve Delmar also turned in a 74 on Sunday to finish with a two-over par 218 (71-73-74) to tie for 19th. Freshman Roberto Ballesteros, playingin his first collegiate event, turned in a 79 on Sunday and finished with a six-over par score of 222 (72-71-79) to tie for 31st. Rounding out Coastal's contingent was sophomore Sebastian Soderberg. The Chants' leader in the first two events, Soderberg finished 57 with a three-round score of 234 (76-78-80).

Coastal Carolina will return to action in two weeks (Oct. 15-17), returning to the annual Bank of Tennessee/Ridges Invitational hosted by East Tennessee State.
