CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina men's basketball team will host Tennessee Tech in the Sears BracketBusters game on Saturday, Feb. 18 in Kimbel Arena. The game time is set for 12:00 p.m.

The game is Coastal's (16-5, 9-2 Big South) second overall meeting in the event and third meeting against the Golden Eagles (13-9, 5-4 OVC) of the Ohio Valley Conference. The all-time series is tied at 1-1 after the Chants fell 70-64 on Feb. 8, 1988, in Cookeville, Tenn. Coastal won the first meeting earlier that season on Dec. 9 in Conway 91-80.

"Tennessee Tech is a good basketball team," said head coach Cliff Ellis. "I have a lot of respect for the Ohio Valley Conference and the Tennessee Tech program."

Coastal's only other appearance in the BracketBusters event was on Feb. 17, 2007, when they defeated Canisius 83-66 in Conway.

The BracketBusters game is included in the Coastal Carolina season ticket package.
