CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina baseball team will hold its annual fall "World Series" this weekend at TicketReturn.com Stadium at Pelicans Park in Myrtle Beach, which will be the Chanticleers' home for the 2013 baseball season.

Due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy, the team has adjusted its schedule, playing two, seven-inning games on Friday with first pitch scheduled for 5 pm. There will be no games Saturday and a nine-inning game Sunday at a time to be determined.

This year's series will have a new twist as former All-Americans David Anderson and Daniel Bowman have drafted the teams and will lead their respective squads. Anderson is serving as a student assistant this season and Bowman is completing his degree from Coastal Carolina this semester.
