Chanticleers Eliminated From ITA Regional

Oct. 18, 2014 Chapel Hill, N.C. - Honami Yazawa of the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team fell in Saturday's second-round match of the singles draw, eliminating the Chanticleers from competition at the 2014 ITA Carolina Regional.

Yazawa, the 2014 Big South Freshman of the Year, was knocked out of the draw in the round of 32 with a 7-6(2), 6-4 loss to Caroline Dailey of South Carolina.

The Chants will close out the fall portion of their schedule with the Charlotte Fall Classic, which takes place Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 in Charlotte, N.C.
