Women's Tennis Eliminated From ITA Regional

Durham, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team was eliminated from contention at the ITA Carolina Regional on Friday as the Chants' three singles players and one doubles pair all fell in the respective matches.
Libby Scott fell in straight sets in her opening-round match against North Carolina's Hayley Carter, 6-3, 6-2.
Marie Babayan, facing another Tar Heel in Casandra Vasquez, win the opening set 6-2 before falling in the final two 2-6, 1-6.
Sara Bondar was eliminated from the main singles draw with a 6-0, 6-1 loss to Andrea Retolaza of Wake Foreset.
In the doubles draw, Bondar/Scott fell in their round-of-16 match against South Carolina's Berg/Folland, 8-3.
