Big South Basketball Media Day Set For Monday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - The annual Big South Conference Basketball Media Day is set to take place on Monday, Oct. 26 at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites Uptown Charlotte hotel in Charlotte, N.C. The event tips off the 2015-16 Big South men's and women's basketball seasons and begins with a breakfast program at 9:00am followed by interview sessions with local, regional and national media outlets starting at 10:30am.
As part of the event, the Conference will announce its annual preseason poll and preseason All-Conference teams in a video presentation during the breakfast as well as on Twitter. In addition, the head coaches of the preseason favorites as well as the preseason Players of the Year will speak at the breakfast. The preseason poll, preseason All-Conference teams and preview video will be available online at BigSouthSports.com starting at 10:30am Monday morning.
Again this year, the Big South Network will broadcast interviews with each team's head coach as part of a live show hosted by Mike Hogewood starting at approximately 10:30am (see below for full schedule, and click here to Watch Live). In addition, ESPN3 will carry the show for the third consecutive year. Fans can also follow the day's activities via the hashtag #BSCMediaDay, as well as the Big South's Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
