Coastal Carolina Baseball Game Notes (NCAA College Station Regional)
COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Second seed and 25th-ranked Coastal Carolina will face third seed and 27th-ranked California Friday (May 29) in the opening game of the NCAA College Station Regional, played at Texas A&M's Blue Bell Park. First pitch is set for Noon (CT)/1 pm (ET).

Coastal is playing in its 15th NCAA Regional and will be facing Cal for just the second time. The Chanticleers and Bears last met on Feb. 25, 2011. Then #17 CCU dropped a 17-0 decision to then #21 Cal. While Coastal went on to win the Big South regular season and tournament titles to advance to an NCAA Regional, the Golden Bears went on to win both the Houston Regional and Santa Clara Super Regional and played in the programs fourth College World Series.
