George F. "Buddy" Sasser Hall of Fame Members
CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina Department of Athletics announces that Zack Byrd (golf) and Joseph Harris (basketball) will be the members of the George F. "Buddy" Sasser Athletics Hall of Fame's Class of 2015.
Byrd and Harris will be officially inducted as the Hall's 25th class on the morning of Nov. 7, prior to the Coastal Carolina football game against Gardner-Webb (2 p.m.), and then recognized during a halftime ceremony.

• Two-time All-American Third Team member in 2009 (PING/GCAA and Golfweek)
• Two-time PING/GCAA All-Region selection (2007 and 2009)
• Big South Golfer of the Year in 2009 and two-time individual medalist at Big South Championship (2005 and 2009)
• Big South Rookie/Freshman of the Year in 2005 and three-time All-Big South honoree (2005, 2007 and 2009)
• Holds Coastal Carolina record for lowest single-round score with 63 at 2009 Desert Shootout and tied for second in lowest 54-hole tournament total (201)
• Fourth at Coastal Carolina in career scoring average (50 rounds minimum) at 73.54
• Third in single-season scoring average (20 rounds minimum) at 72.58 in 2008-09
• Placed in the top third of the field at the 2007 NCAA Championship, finishing in a tie for 49th
• Selected Big South Golfer of the Week seven times, including four in 2009
• Two-time GCAA All-America Scholar (2007 and 2009)

• Coastal Carolina's career leader in games played (134), field goal percentage (.562) and rebounds. Also ranks in the top 10 in scoring (ninth), field goals made (fifth), field goals attempted (10th), free throws made (10th), free throws attempted (fourth), rebounding average (fourth), blocks (second) and steals (second)
• Program's single-season leader in offensive rebounds (127) and also ranks in the top 10 in total rebounds (second), rebounding average (second), field goals made (eighth), field goal percentage (seventh) and blocks (seventh)
• Holds Coastal single-game records for field goals (16) and rebounds (22)
• Led Chanticleers in rebounds in each of his four seasons
