CARY, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team was eliminated from contention at the ITA Carolina Regional on Sunday afternoon as the final doubles pair of Vuk Velickovic and Luiz Faria fell in the third round of the main draw.
The Chanticleer duo had advanced to the third round with wins against pairs from Elon and NC Central, but suffered a 6-1, 6-2 loss to the Wake Forest pairing of Skander Mansouri and Christian Seraphin on Sunday afternoon.
Faria and Velickovic also led the Chants in the main singles draw, as both reached the third round before suffering elimination losses on Saturday.
The ITA Carolina Regional marks the end of Coastal's 2016 fall schedule.
