CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina Department of Athletics and its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee recently completed its annual Adopt-A-Chant Campaign, which helped to provide local children a happy holiday season by donating such items as toys, clothes and shoes to Toys for Tots and students at Pee Dee Elementary.

This is the seventh consecutive year of the program and arguably one of the best. A collective 14 bikes, approximately 1,000 toys, clothes, shoes and stocking stuffers were donated and will provide Christmas for 21 children.

"On behalf of the Department of Athletics Staff, Coaches and Student-Athletes we are grateful for the opportunity to support our community in this effort. We wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season," said Cari Rosiek, Associate AD for Student-Athlete Enhancement and Senior Woman Administrator.
