Coastal to Host Annual General Hackler Championship

MYRTLE BEACH - Once again, some of the premier men's college golf teams will in the Myrtle Beach to play on one of the premier golf course as Coastal Carolina hosts its 15th Annual General Hackler Championship, presented by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday, at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club this weekend (Mar. 12-13).
The 2016 General Hackler will feature 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.
This year's 15-team field has 12 of the nation's top 100 teams and includes host Coastal Carolina, #49 Charleston Southern, #83 Charlotte, #84 Chattanooga, #44 East Carolina, Iowa State, #65 Kent State, #16 North Carolina, #43 North Carolina State, #30 North Florida. #19 South Carolina, #32 Texas A&M, #24 Virginia, #95 Virginia Tech and Winthrop.
North Florida is the defending champion while two of the three individual co-medalists from last year -- Zack Seabolt (Winthrop) and Nick Voke (Iowa State) -- are back to defend their title.
