27 Chanticleers Receive Degrees at December Graduation

CONWAY - A total of 27 Chanticleer student-athletes -- 20 undergraduate and seven post-graduate -- received their degrees from Coastal Carolina University this past weekend at the December 2017 Commencement.
Headlining the group were four Chanticleers that graduated with honors including Jas Adams of women's basketball (cum laude), Josh Stilley of football (magna cum laude), Casey Schroeder of baseball (summa cum laude) and Natasa Savovic of indoor/beach volleyball (magna cum laude).
Nine of the 20 Chants that received their undergraduate degrees came from the football program, while four of the seven that received their Master's were with the football program. Also, with football's Masamitsu Ishibashi and Keane receiving their undergraduate degrees, all 17 CCU seniors from this past fall have earned their undergraduate degrees.
The seven Chanticleers that received their Master's include Alex Cunningham of baseball (M.B.A.), Tyler Chadwick of baseball/football (M.B.A.), Eric Church of football (M.B.A.), Jarius McMillan of football (M.B.A.), Kyla van Graan of cross country/track (M.B.A.) and Katie Davis of beach volleyball (M. Ed. L&T).
