Myers hit a ground ball to shortstop, but Lancaster's hustle beat the throw at second, allowing Cooke to score.

The Red Wolves cut their deficit to two, 3-1, with a run in the third. Alex Howard continued his solid weekend with a leadoff single. He then stole second and moved to third on a ground out. After a hit batter, Howard scored on a wild pitch.

Coastal got that run back and one more in the fourth. Matt Beaird drew a leadoff walk and Cooke lined a double down the third base line to put Beaird on third. The double by Cooke was his sixth consecutive hit over two games, going 4-for-4 on Saturday and getting hits in each of his first two official at bats on Sunday. Isaacson then plated Cooke with an RBI single to right field.

The Chants pushed their lead to 6-1 in the fifth. Dalton Ewing flared a two-out single to center fielder and stole second to set-up Cory Wood's RBI double to left field.

Coastal will return home Wednesday (Mar. 29) at 6 pm) to host UNC Wilmington, which is a make-up for one of the two games versus the Seahawks from Mar. 14 and 15 that was postponed.
