New Orleans, La. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team earned the No. 3 seed in the Sun Belt Women's Soccer Championship to be held in Foley, Ala., from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.
The Chants finished with a 6-3 record in conference play to place third overall during the regular season of the league. CCU is 8-7-1 overall on the season.
Coastal will play its first match in the tournament on Oct. 31 against No. 6 seeded Georgia State at 8:00 p.m. ET (7:00 CT). The Chants will look to redeem the 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Panthers back on Oct. 14 in Atlanta, Ga.
CCU has played well in their two previous Sun Belt Championship Tournaments, reaching the finals on both occasions before falling to South Alabama.

* South Alabama and Georgia State each finished tied with 16 points in the final standings; however, the Jaguars defeated the Panthers, 1-0, earlier this year and therefore earned the higher seed.
