CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team closed out the Lynn Stevens Memorial Classic with a 6-6 combined record in singles and doubles on Sunday at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

Coastal participated in one round of singles versus UNCG, and played a pair of doubles rounds against Campbell and East Carolina.

The Chants won two of six singles matches against UNCG, with Viktorija Demcenkova winning at No.1 and Maria Khomchenko taking the fifth court.

Against Campbell in doubles, Coastal's second and third pairings of Demcenkova/Alexa Tiefel and Jennifer Brown/Somer Dalla-Bona, respectively, won their matches.

Coastal finished the day versus ECU in doubles, once again taking the second and third courts. Brown/Dalla-Bona won at No. 2, while Demcenkova/Khomchenko prevailed at No. 3.

Coastal finishes its 2018 fall schedule next weekend, Nov. 2-4, at the College of Charleston Classic.
