CCU’s Military Appreciation Day on Nov. 17 includes photographic war memorial

CCU Athletics and the Office of Veterans Services plan 4,000-square-foot memorial to be set up outside Brooks Stadium on game day
Conway, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University's Department of Athletics and the Office of Veterans Services are partnering with Patriotic Productions to set up a 4,000-square-foot memorial outside of Brooks Stadium as part of Military Appreciation Day as the Chanticleers host Georgia Southern at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17.
The Remembering Our Fallen memorial is a photographic war memorial that honors our country's fallen soldiers from the War on Terror (Sept. 11, 2001-present). Unlike brick-and-mortar memorials, Remembering Our Fallen is designed to travel and includes both military and personal photos.
Both active-duty military members and veterans get free admission into the final home football game on Saturday night with a military I.D., while family members will receive discounted tickets. For tickets, go to GoCCUsports.com or call the Chanticleer Athletics Ticket Office at 843-347-8499.
