Carlsen Signs with Women's Golf

CONWAY – Coastal Carolina women's head golf coach Katie Quinney has announced the signing of Sophia Carlsen to the 2019 signing class.
Sophia is from Aalsgaarde, Denmark and brings a solid international resume to the reigning Sun Belt Champions.
Carlsen was selected to play in the European Championship for Denmark three consecutive years. She was the winner of the MID qualification in 2018 with a two round score of 136 (67-69).
She played in the adult Danish Championship and in 2016 she was the runner up. This season she has picked up championships in the Asserbo Pokalen and the Royal Trophy of Cophenhagen.
