SBC ITF Championships Results 
Birmingham, Ala. - The Coastal Carolina women's indoor track and field team closed out the Sun Belt Championships finishing in seventh place with 45 points, Tuesday in Birmingham.
Aynslee van Graan started the scoring for the Chanticleers by finishing on top of the one mile run setting a school record and personal best time of 4:50.32.
Annie Bothma repeated as the 5000m champion finishing first with her time of 17:05.45, to score ten points for CCU.
The 4x400 relay team of Jonnay Anthony, Tiffany Harris, Erica Evans, and Hesmari Coetzee finished in sixth with their time of 3:52.06 to close out the scoring for the Chants.
In the field events, Erica Evans finished in fifth in the pentathlon scoring 881 in the 60m hurdles, 678 in the high jump, 518 in the shot put, 637 in the long jump and the final 758 in the 800m for a total of 3,472 points.
Courtney Lawson placed 13th in the triple jump with her leap of 11.42m (37' 5.75").
Coastal Carolina's track and field teams will return to action in the outdoor season competing in the Coastal Carolina Invitational March 9 and 10 at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach.
