Adams Named To SBC All-Tournament Team

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Coastal Carolina senior guard Jas Adams was named Sun Belt All-Tournament as the league announced the team following the conclusion of the 2018 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship on Sunday night.
In Coastal's two games of the tournament, Adams led the Chants averaging 19 points and seven assists. She also had team highs in total field goals (14) and 3-point makes (seven).
Adams scored 16 points while shooting 40 percent from the field in Coastal's win over Georgia State in the first round. She then scored 22 points and dished out a career-high nine assists as the Chants were edged by Texas State in the quarterfinals.
Adams becomes the program's first student-athlete to be named to the Sun Belt's all-tournament team, and is Coastal's first conference all-tournament selection since Angelica Henry in the 2014 Big South Championship.
