Women's Golf Schedule Released

2018-19 Schedule
Coastal Carolina's Katie Quinney, the reigning Sun Belt Women's Golf Coach of the Year, has released the 2018-19 schedule as the Chanticleers look to build on its 2018 Sun Belt Tournament Championship.
This year's schedule features four fall matches followed by four spring matches that will lead to the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship.
The Chanticleers will begin the season making a return trip to Knoxville, Tenn., to play in the Mercedes Benz Collegiate Championship. The Chants played in the event last season shooting an 893.
The University of Tennessee will host the event set to be played at the Cherokee Country Club Sept. 17-18.
CCU will then travel to Florida to participate in the Jacksonville Classic on Oct. 1-2. Jacksonville University will host the Classic which will be played at the Marsh Landing Country Club located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
The third fall event takes place Oct. 14-16 at the Magnolia University. The event will be dual-hosted by the University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University at the Old Waverly Golf Couse in West Point, Miss.
The final event of the fall will take place in Atlanta at the Alexa Stirling Women's Invitational. CCU played in the event last season shooting a two-day total 611 and finishing seventh. The event is hosted by Louisville and will be played Oct. 26-28 at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
The spring portion of the schedule begins in a familiar tourney, the Edwin Watts Kiawah Island Classic. CCU has participated in the event in the past and will make the trip down to Kiawah Island where the event will be held at the Osprey Pointe and Oak Pointe courses. The College of Charleston hosts the event which will be played Feb. 24-26.
The following week CCU will make a cross-country trip to Sacramento, Calif., to play in the Gunrock Invitational. UC Davis hosts the event which is played March 4-5 at the Del Paso Country Club.
After taking a week off, the Chants will head to Augusta, Ga., to play in the Administaff Lady Jaguar Tourney. Formerly known as the 3M Augusta Invitational, CCU last played in the event two years ago. March 16-17 are the dates of the event which is hosted by Augusta University at the Forest Hills Golf Club.
The Chants final regular season event before the Sun Belt Championship will be played at the Bryan National Collegiate March 29-31. The event will be held at the Bryan Park Golf Club in Greensboro, N.C. and will be hosted by both Wake Forest and UNC Greensboro.
CCU will look to defend their Sun Belt title April 15-17 at the Sun Belt Conference Championship. The event will once again be held in Daytona Beach, Fla., at the LPGA International Course.
The NCAA Regionals will be held May 6-9. The four host sites this year are Auburn, Washington, Michigan State and Oklahoma.
The Championship will be hosted by Arkansas at the Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Ark. The Championship dates are May 16-22 with Arkansas playing host.
