Conway, S.C. – The road journey continues for Coastal Carolina football this weekend, as the Chanticleers will play its third-straight road contest in as many weeks this Saturday, Sept. 29, at Troy in Troy, Ala. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT.

Early East Division Battle
• In only the second week of Sun Belt Conference play, the matchup between Coastal Carolina and Troy on Saturday is a battle between the two top teams in the East Division.
Sun Belt Conference Play
• Coastal Carolina is 1-0 in the Sun Belt this season having won its conference opener last weekend at Louisiana (30-28).
• After losing its first six Sun Belt games a year ago, CCU has won each of its last three conference games with wins over Idaho and Georgia Southern to close out the 2017 season and the conference-opening win at Louisiana on Sept. 22.
Still Not Home
• Due to Hurricane Florence, the Chanticleers were forced to evacuate campus and their homes, and have been "on the road" since Sept. 11.
• After spending 12 days on the road in North Carolina, Florida and Louisiana from Sept. 11 to Sept. 22, the Chants returned to Myrtle Beach, S.C. in the early morning hours of Sept. 23.
• However, with campus still closed due to flooding in the Conway, S.C. area until Friday, the team is still not back on campus and has been away from its home field, locker room, weight room and classrooms for three weeks.
Ground Attack
• Coastal's ground attack leads the Sun Belt and ranks 12th nationally with an average of 266.5 rushing yards per game.
• CCU has rushed for over 300 yards as a team in each of its last two games, both of which were wins on the road (333 yards at Campbell - Sept. 12 and 311 yards at Louisiana - Sept. 22).
• The running game has been spearheaded by a trio of Chants in
Marcus Outlow (358 yards),
Torrance Marable (262 yards) and
Kilton Anderson (215 yards), who all rank in the top 10 in the Sun Belt in rushing.
Fourth Down Success
• After not recording a single fourth down attempt over its first three games, the Chanticleers were a perfect 3-of-3 on fourth downs in the road win at Louisiana last week (Sept. 22).
• The Chants are just one of five teams nationally that are perfect (100 percent) on fourth down attempts this season.

• Over the last three games, all of which have been CCU wins, the CCU offense has totaled 135 points, an average of 45.0 points per outing.
Chasing 1,000
• Senior wideout
Malcolm Williams is just nine yards away from eclipsing the 1,000 career receiving yards mark. He enters Saturday's game with 991 career receiving yards.
Massimo!
• Freshman kicker
Massimo Biscardi connected on a 50-yard field goal in the first quarter, the longest field goal by a CCU kicker since
Evan Rabon's 52-yard kick in the win at Idaho last season.
• Biscardi is a perfect 5-for-5 in the field goal department this season, one of only 17 kickers nationally to have a 100 percent field goal percentage heading into week five of play.
