Coastal Carolina women’s soccer team one of 647 women’s programs honored
CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team was honored as one of 647 women's soccer programs that earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year. A total of 992 men's and women's programs were named with 258 having both their programs recognized, which included Coastal.
The Chanticleers carried a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year to earn the honor. It is the 15th year that the women's program has had the distinction of receiving the team academic award.
