VMI Winter Relays Results Day Two (PDF)
LEXINGTON, VA. - On Saturday, the Coastal Carolina women's indoor track and field team wrapped up their final day of the VMI Winter Relays as the Chanticleers were able to pick up five top finishes.
Sammy Jo Layko picked up the best performance of the day as the senior thrower finished second in the weight throw when she finished with a personal-best throw of 16.59 meters.

Alyssa LeClaire had her best finish of the season in the 800 meters when she finished the race with a time of 2:17.79. FreshmanÂ
Rebecca Lehman (2:29.03) andÂ
Mya Ray (2:31.66) also competed in the event.

Erica Evans finished the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:55.18 good for seventh place
JuniorÂ
Lisha van Onselen earned eighth place in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:26.89. Also in the 3000, junior Alexis Carpenter had time of 11:51.18.
After spending Friday competing in two rounds of the 60-meter hurdles, seniorÂ
Anacia Hines competed in the finals of the aforementioned event and was able to finish eighth with a time of 9:35.
FreshmanÂ
Heather Delaplaine finished the mile in a personal-best time of 5:21.16 good for 15
th.
