CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team will host Mercer, of the Southern Conference, on Friday, April 12, inside Brooks Stadium on the campus of Coastal Carolina University. The opening draw is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Friday's match is CCU's Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness game, and the team will be wearing pink socks and pink scrunchies. The Chanticleers are encouraging fans to wear pink to the game and if they are interested in donating they can do so by clicking

Coastal leads the all-time series with the Bears 4-0 with the latest meeting being a 17-7 win in Macon, Ga. Senior
Haley Kyger led the offensive attack tying a school record of eight goals in a game while senior
Harley Barrett made 10 saves.
Last time out, the Chanticleers defeated Stetson 18-11 in Deland, Fla. A total of nine Coastal players scored with senior
Madeline Bromley leading the offensive attack with seven points on four goals and three assists while junior
Lyla Robinson chipped in with three goals on the day.
Defensively, two goalies Barrett and junior
Regan McComb combined for seven saves for the match while juniors
Emily D'Orsaneo and
Hannah Krin caused three and two turnovers.
For the season, senior
Haley Alexander, Bromley, and junior
Samantha Courtemanche lead the offense with 47, 45, and 42 points respectively, for an offense that is averaging 14.33 goals per game.
Barrett has made 94 stops while in goal. Junior
Megan Kilpatrick leads the team with 18 caused turnovers and D'Orsaneo has scooped 28 ground balls for a defense that is allowing 9.92 goals per game.
Mercer dropped a 13-11 match to SoCon opponent Furman in its last outing with Hailey Rhatigan leading the MU offense with five goals while Iseabal Cryne made 10 stops in goal.
The Bears offense is averaging 13.75 goals per game on the season with Rhatigan leading the attack with 49 points on 41 goals and eight assists while defensively Cryne has made 106 saves for a defense that is allowing 11.67 goals per game.
