Chants Named a GCAA All-Academic Team

Coastal Carolina men’s golf posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or better in 2018-19
Norman, Okla. – Coastal Carolina men's golf was recognized as a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team for the 2018-19 season, the GCAA announced on Wednesday.
The Chanticleers posted a 3.225 team grade point average (GPA) in 2018-19, their second season under head coach Jim Garren.
The honor marks the eighth time in the program's history that the team has been recognized by the GCAA as an all-academic team and the second-straight year.
A total of 193 schools submitted GPAs of 3.0 or above, with 32 of those schools earning Presidents Special Recognition Honors, finishing with a team GPA of 3.5 and above.
To be eligible for GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors a college or university must submit GPAs for each player on their official squad list for the academic year.
