CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina Athletics has announced a series of comprehensive fan experience enhancements for fans this season at newly-renovated Brooks Stadium. The 2019 football schedule features six home games, including two games over the first three weeks of the season in the season opener on Aug. 31 versus Eastern Michigan and a home contest versus Norfolk State two weeks later on Sept. 14.
Among the enhancements implemented for the gameday experience:
Bottled Water (new for 2019): fans are permitted to bring into Brooks Stadium one sealed 20-ounce water bottle per person. Additional bottled water is available for sale at concession stands throughout the stadium.
Watering Stations (new for 2019): water stations have been added to both the lower levels of the East and West stands for fans to utilize at their convenience for the first two home football games.
(Other games will be determined on a game-by-game basis in conjunction with the forecasted weather for that gameday)
Additional Concessions (new for 2019): the new renovation on the west side of the stadium has added more points of sale for concessions, as well as even more great food. The northwest concession stand will be offering four different flavors of grilled cheese, pimento cheeseburgers, and totchos (nachos made with tater tots). BBQ nachos that come in the souvenir footballs are back, while Chick-fil-A will be available on the ground level on both the west and east sides, as well as on the new third level on the west side of the stadium.
Pepsi Patio (new for 2019): Coastal students can take advantage of the new Pepsi Patio deck located behind the student section on top of the Mullen Wylie Gate. Not only is it a place for the students to hang out and watch the game, but a DJ will be set up on the patio for the in-game music.
In addition to the above additions, the Coastal Carolina Athletics Department encourages fans to follow the below guidelines for the warm, afternoon games at Brook Stadium.
