
Van Onselen Named Sun Belt Runner of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – Coastal Carolina senior Lisha van Onselen of the women's cross-country team has been named this week's Sun Belt Runner of the Week for the second time in her career, the conference announced Wednesday.
Last week, van Onselen clocked a time of 18:17.10 and averaged a 5:52.70 mile for her fourth career victory and her second career top finish at a Winthrop/Adidas Invitational 5k event. In 2018, van Onselen earned the win in Rock Hill with a time of 19:03.00.
In 2017, van Onselen earned her first Sun Belt Runner of the Week award for running 17:46.39 at the Appalachian State Invitational 5k.
