Women's Golf Ready for Lady Paladin Invite

CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team will travel upstate to Greenville, S.C, for its next fall tournament. The Chanticleers will play at the 46th Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by nationally-ranked Furman University on Sept. 27-29.
 
The Invite will be played at the par-72, 6,278-yard Furman University Golf Course.
 
CCU will be one of 16 teams to tee off the 54-hole event. Headlining the field will be top-ranked Wake Forest. Host Furman enters its home event ranked 18th in the nation. Other teams joining CCU in the field will be Dayton State, James Madison, Kansas, North Florida, Old Dominion, Richmond, South Florida, Toledo, Tulsa, and UNC Wilmington.
 
The Chants will also be joined in the event by fellow Sun Belt Conference members Georgia Southern and Georgia State.
 
The 54-hole event will tee off at 9 a.m. Friday with Saturday's second round play teeing off at 9 a.m. Sunday's final round is scheduled for a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
