CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will hit the road for a pair of weekend games beginning with Friday night's match against East Division leader South Alabama.
The game is scheduled for a 8 p.m. ET start and will be played at USA's The Cage soccer facility.
These two teams put on a great show for the fans in their meeting earlier this year in Conway, S.C. when the Jaguars pulled out a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Chanticleers with the help of a penalty kick with only five minutes left in the match.
South Alabama enters the match with a 5-2 overall record, but their 5-1 Sun Belt Conference record has them in first-place by percentage points in the East Division.
The Chants have a 4-2 overall and conference record which has them entering the weekend in third-place in the East Division.
CCU will continue their weekend road trip with a match at Troy slated for Sunday, Oct. 18 at noon ET. The Chants shut out Troy 2-0 earlier this season in which
Loranna Austin scored both goals and
Ky Hudson made two saves in the win.
