CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina head women's soccer coach Pete Cuadrado has announced the addition of Rex Carrell and Olivia Stutzman to his coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season.

Carrell joins the Chanticleers as an associate head coach after four seasons at Tarleton State, where he previously served alongside Cuadrado as part of the program's inaugural staff. During his tenure, Tarleton State reached its first conference tournament and recorded a program-best season in 2025. Carrell coached five All-Freshmen selections, two All-WAC honorees, and one All-Region selection while recording the most wins by a start-up program since 2015.

Prior to Tarleton State, Carrell spent two seasons at Gustavus Adolphus College, where he was part of one of the most successful stretches in program history. The 2019 team went 18-3-1, captured both the MIAC regular season and tournament titles, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Round of 32. During that time, he helped coach two All-Americans, five All-MIAC selections, and four All-Region honorees. His experience also includes time with Gretna Elite Academy's U23 women's team and Nebraska Wesleyan, where he began his coaching career.

Stutzman joins the Chanticleers as an assistant coach after previously working at Tarleton State. She brings a strong background in player development, training design, and performance analysis, along with experience in strength and conditioning.

 A former standout at Wyoming and Colorado State, Stutzman totaled 11 goals and five assists in her collegiate career while earning multiple Mountain West honors. She also excelled academically, earning four-time Academic All-Conference recognition and completing degrees in exercise science and kinesiology.
