
Men’s Golf Named a 2020 GCAA All-Academic Team

The team academic award marks the third-straight for the Chants
NORMAN, Okla. – For the third-straight year, the Coastal Carolina men's golf program was recognized as a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team, the GCAA announced today.
It marks the ninth such honor for the Chants in the program's history.
The Chanticleers posted a 3.269 team grade point average (GPA) in 2019-20, their third season under head coach Jim Garren.
A total of 250 schools submitted GPAs of 3.0 or above, with 95 of those schools earning Presidents Special Recognition Honors, finishing with a team GPA of 3.5 and above.
To be eligible for GCAA Outstanding Team Academic honors a college or university must submit GPAs for each player on their official squad list for the academic year.
