CONWAY – Thursday night's season-opening women's soccer match between Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern has been postponed due to the impending heavy rainfall forecasted for the Conway/Myrtle Beach area Wednesday night and all day Thursday from Hurricane Sally.
 
Due to the incoming inclement weather and potential unsafe field conditions, the two teams have decided to play the game at a later date.

The women's soccer match at Georgia State scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, is still scheduled to be played. That match will be hosted by Georgia State at Center Parc Stadium, the home of the Georgia State football team, at 1 p.m.
