Cherry Receives Sun Belt Weekly Honor

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University's Mackenzie Cherry has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today.
The junior defender played all 90 minutes in the Chants' season-opening 4-2 win at Georgia State. She even got in on the scoring by knocking in the fourth and final goal of the match in the 33rd minute of the first half.
