CONWAY, S.C. – The 2021 spring schedule is set for the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team, head coach Catherine Hewitt announced today. The Chanticleers are slated to play 10 matches at home this season at The Stevens Tennis Complex in Conway, S.C.

Coastal will open the spring slate early this season with back-to-back road matches against in-state foes Clemson (Jan. 15) and South Carolina (Jan. 16) before hosting UNCW (Jan. 31) for the spring season home opener.

The Chanticleers will kick off the month of February with a home contest versus the College of Charleston (Feb. 3) before spending the rest of the month on the road with matches at UNCG (Feb. 12), Charleston Southern (Feb. 17), UNCW (Feb. 20), and the College of Charleston (Feb. 24). Hewitt's squad will wrap up the five-match road swing at Presbyterian College (March 2).

CCU is then slated to open up Sun Belt Conference play with two-straight matches at home versus Georgia Southern (March 6) and Georgia State (March 7).

Following a non-conference home bout against Campbell (March 10), the Chants jump back into conference play with road matches at South Alabama (March 13) and Troy (March 14).

After a midweek home contest versus Morgan State (March 18), the Coastal Carolina ladies will play five-straight Sun Belt matches versus Appalachian State (March 21), at Georgia Southern (March 27), at Georgia State (March 28), versus South Alabama (April 3), and against Troy (April 4).

The Chants will wrap up the regular-season slate with road matches at NC Central (April 6) and Appalachian State (April 7) before hosting Charlotte (April 11) for Senior Day.

The 2021 Sun Belt Conference Women's Tennis Championship will be held from April 15-18 at the Peachtree City Tennis Center in Peachtree City, Ga.
