BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team swept Gardner-Webb, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Webb Tennis Complex in Boiling Springs, N.C.

• With the win, Coastal improved to 11-3 on the season.
• The Chanticleers secured the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Aida Mitrache and Brooke Rogers earned a 6-3 victory on court one and Sarah Clark and Paula Cabrer battled to a 7-6 win on court two.
• Coastal carried that momentum into singles play, winning four matching on courts one through four and getting two default wins on courts five and six.
• Aida Mitrache dominated on court two earning a 6-0, 6-0 win over Emma Shasteen.
• The Chants will return to action this weekend as they continue Sun Belt Conference play against Marshall on April 3 and Appalachian State on April 4.
