CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team concluded the second day of the College of Charleston Halloween Invite on Saturday, as five Chanticleers took the court in doubles and singles action.
In doubles play,
Mathilde Tranberg teamed up with Madalina Man of Charleston Southern to defeat the College of Charleston pair of Helena Huff and McKenzie Daniels 6-1.
The Coastal duo of
Megan Hopton and
Jesse Hollins suffered a 7-6 (5) setback to Peyton Brotzman and Maja Jekauc of the Cougars, while the team of
Paola Landin Lopez and
Victoire De Samucewicz dropped their match to Halli Trinkle and Slade Coetzee by a score of 6-1.
In singles action, the Chanticleers battled the Marshall Thundering Herd as Hollins blanked Jutte Van Hansewck in straight-sets 6-0, 6-0.
The Chanticleers will wrap up its 2021 fall season on the final day of the Halloween Invitational tomorrow.
